Nintendo of Europe ha annunciato tramite il proprio profilo Twitter che Ultimate NES Remix sarà disponibile su 3DS il 7 novembre 2014. Purtroppo il publisher non ha rivelato informazioni sul titolo, ma alcune ipotesi lo danno come un gioco simile a Mario Maker su Wii U. Le informazioni su Ultimate NES Remix e sulle sue caratteristiche non dovrebbero tardare ad arrivare.
